Astragalus

The scientific name of Astragalus is Astragalus membranaceus. Astragalus membranaceus is reported to provide better activity of the immune cells and also increases their production. Astragalus membranaceus help the body to produces substances life interferon, which are responsible for fighting against certain infection in the body. In Asia astragalus membranaceus is applied on skin to help skin wounds heal relatively quickly as it is believed to help keep the skin cells together.
