Dong Quai

The stems of Dong quai are soft and purplish in color, the flowers of Dong quai possess umbrella like shape and are found in clusters. It bears fruit in the month of July and August. The roots of Dong quai are used for medicinal purposes. The plant reaches its maturity in three years.

There are many uses of Dong quai root and is being used in China, Korea and Japan since thousand years as tonic, spice and for medicinal purposes.
